Independent Wrestler Jasper Davis Arrested For Murder

A independent wrestling star has been arrested for murder.

KTRK in Houston, Texas is reporting that Jasper Davis, 29, has been arrested for the murder of 24 year old Jennifer Nicole Mamo. Investigators say that Davis shot Mamo at a party after an argument, put her body in the car and dumped it by a creek in north Harris County.

The report says that Davis got his car stuck at the creek and called a friend for help. The friend saw the body and instead of helping Davis, called 911. Davis got his father's help to get out of the creek and was later found near his mother's house.

A 7 month old child was found at their home, and is unhurt. She was taken into Child Protective Services.

Davis has been wrestling since 2008 in the Houston area. Trained by the recently deceased Tugboat Taylor, he has wrestled for the NWA in the past and more recently has wrestled for Booker T's Reality of Wrestling promotion, even reigning as a current tag team champion there since April of this year. Throughout his career, Davis has worked with the likes of Ray Rowe, ACH and others.
