Indi Hartwell discusses career regrets from her time in WWE and being inspired by Drew McIntyre's career trajectory.
Indi Hartwell is now a TNA Knockout after being released by WWE in November 2024. However, she's now saying she wishes she had been more assertive during her time with the sports entertainment juggernaut.
During an interview with Simon Miller of WhatCulture Wrestling, Hartwell mentioned her tendency to sit back and do what she's told as one of her regrets from her first run with WWE.
"I would have spoken up more, and not just sat back. I just kind of sit back and do what I'm told, and don't really speak up. So maybe I would have done that a bit more."
Indi Hartwell also said that she's inspired by Drew McIntyre, who was fired by WWE and would eventually return to become a multi-time WWE World Champion and headline WrestleMania.
"Drew McIntyre. He's a great example of that. He's a big inspiration to me. Like, I love seeing what he did and where he is now. So, it's awesome."
Indi Hartwell will make her TNA Wrestling in-ring debut on the May 15 episode of TNA iMPACT! Learn more here.
In the past, WWE has used Drew McIntyre's name as a verb when trying to inspire released talent to make a name for themselves and come back. Learn more here.
