Indus Sher Is Coming, Zoey Stark Debuts, Rhea Ripley Dominates | Raw Fight Size

Here is your post-Monday Night Raw fight size update for May 8, 2023.

- Jinder Mahal hyped up the looming arrival of Indus Sher (Mahal Veer Mahaan, and Sanga). He made it clear that the group is coming to WWE Raw, and they intend to make an impact.

STARDOM in Fukuoka Results (5/5/24): CRAZY STAR, EXV Defend Belts

- In an interview, Zoey Stark commented on her arrival on WWE RAW and called out Nikki Cross for being weird. She challenged Cross to a match and the Raw newcomer emerged victorious.

- SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley defeated Dana Brooke and attacked her after the bell. Natalya came to the ring and confronted Ripley.

- Cody Rhodes came to the ring and referenced making a lot of history in Jacksonville during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rhodes discussed his win over Brock Lesnar at WWE Backlash. He vowed to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

- Imperium (Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser) arrived on WWE RAW and announced that Intercontinental Champion Gunther will be on the show the following week. They confronted Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn and got frustrated when they felt like they were being disrespected. Zayn agreed to face the duo in a match. Owens and Zayn then emerged victorious in a competitive match.

In the first Triple Threat match in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament, Seth Rollins battled Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest. In the end, Rollins pinned Nakamura with a Pedigree to advance to the semi-finals.

In the second World Heavyweight Championship Tournament triple threat match, Cody Rhodes battled The Miz and Finn Balor. Rhodes nearly scored the win, but Brock Lesnar pulled him out of the ring and attacked him. Balor then pinned Miz to win the match. Lesnar continued to attack Rhodes after the bell and challenged him to a fight at WWE Night of Champions. Rhodes later accepted the challenge.

- Mustafa Ali took on Otis. Chad Gable argued with Maxxine Dupri, and Ali capitalized. He pinned Otis with a 450 splash.

- In an interview, Xavier Woods confronted Dominik Mysterio, who threatened to punch Woods. The two stars clashed in a singles match, and Rhea Ripley helped Dominik clinch the win.

Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville had a petition, hoping to get enough signatures for a shot at the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. They encountered The Way (Indi Hartwell, Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Dexter Lumis), who had reunited on WWE Raw.

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus came to the ring. She noted that Becky Lynch was missing, and she was worried. Stratus expressed her confidence that Lynch would be found, and when she was, the fans could say, “Thank you, Trish.” Stratus said Raw was her show, and no one would take her spotlight. Lynch’s music hit, but it was a use, and Stratus laughed at the fans for falling for it. Lynch’s music hit again, and she blindsided Stratus with an attack. “The Man” told Stratus that she was back, and she made it clear that she’s coming for revenge.

The Miz continued to pitch the idea of working together to Shinsuke Nakamura, who responded by challenging The Miz to a match next week and saying it would be "awesome."

- WWE announced the matches for the SmackDown side of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

- Seth Rollins defeated Finn Balor to advance to the finals of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

- WWE congratulated Dave Bautista on the success of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.

- Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville bumped into WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, who agreed to give them a title match.

- Brandi Rhodes was apparently upset after Brock Lesnar attacked Cody.

- Mustafa Ali responded to comments about people being upset that he's not in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

- Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn argued in a Raw Exclusive and shared that they plan to win every match.

- In a Raw Exclusive, Xavier Woods vowed to show The Judgment Day that he's dangerous all by himself.

- On Raw Talk, Mustafa Ali made it clear that he is enjoying free agency.
