New Indus Sher, Jinder Mahal, Jeff Hardy Work Main Event Tapings (Spoilers)

Some rare happenings on WWE Main Event.

The Monday tapings of Main Event saw Ricochet defeat Mustafa Ali in their sixth televised one on one match in about eight months, but that wasn't the most notable thing on the show. Two former WWE Champions squared off in their respective return matches.

Jinder Mahal defeated Jeff Hardy on the show, but had help from a new version of Indus Sher in doing it. Dilser Shanky was a part of the group instead of Saurav Gurjar. Indus Sher have been off WWE for almost a year, outside of Superstar Spectacle after Gurjar spoiled Keith Lee's NXT Title win with an Instagram post. Mahal was much of the same, last wrestling on the May 22, 2020 WWE Main Event show, before returning at January's Superstar Spectacle. At that show, Indus Sher actually teamed with Drew McIntyre to defeat Jinder Mahal and the Bollywood Boyz.

Mahal had returned to WWE Raw in 2020 after a year off of TV due to injury. Since WrestleMania week 2019 ended, this was only Mahal's sixth WWE televised match.

Jeff Hardy himself was wrestling his first match since March 22. He'd been taking time off due to the passing of his father. Even leading in to that, Hardy had lost his last eight matches in WWE.
