Intercontinental Title Match Set For 4/30 WWE SmackDown

Big E will get his rematch.

WWE announced that Big E will challenge Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental Championship on the April 30 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Crews defeated Big E at WrestleMania 37 in a Nigerian Drum Fight to win the Intercontinental Championship when Commander Azeez showed up and took out Big E.

Big E was hoping to get his rematch on the April 23 episode, but Kevin Owens received the match instead. Crews was victorious over Owens following a distraction from Commander Azeez.

In a backstage segment following the bout, Big E attacked Crews to set up the rematch next Friday.

April 30 - WWE SmackDown

- WWE Universal Championship vs. SmackDown Career: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Daniel Bryan

- Intercontinental Championship: Apollo Crews (c) vs. Big E
