Investment Firm Blackrock Inc Increases Ownership Of WWE

Blackrock Inc has gained more control of WWE voting shares.

On February 1, an SEC document was filed disclosing Blackrock Inc as having 4,200,300 Class A shares of WWE. The filing noted that Blackrock Inc's previous Class A shares were at 4,165,401.

With the shares increase, Blackrock Inc now has 9% ownership of WWE.

Blackrock, Based in New York, is the world’s largest asset manager. They have $8.5 trillion in assets under management as of January 2021.

WWE is set to hold its fourth quarter and full-year 2020 results on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 5 p.m. ET. Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon, President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Kahn, Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, and Chief Financial Officer Kristina Salen are scheduled to be on the call.
