A late addition had been made to Wednesday's NXT.
General Manager William Regal announced Io Shirai will team with Tegan Nox to face Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai on Wednesday's episode. The women's tag team bout will serve as the opener for the show. Shirai defeated Nox on the July 15 edition of NXT. Following the bout, Kai laid out the NXT Women's Champion with a kick to the face.
