Bullet Club rules the tag team division.
At the January 23 NJPW Road to The New Beginning, Bullet Club members Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo captured the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles when they defeated El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
The match was filled with ref bumps and shenanigans before the finish saw El Phantasmo catch Kanemaru with a load boot superkick following a low blot to score the victory.
This marks the second reign for Phantasmo & Ishimori as IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. The reign of El Desperado & Kanemaru lasted 133 days.
