IYO SKY: “If The Timing Works Out, I’m Sure I Will Be Back Wrestling In Japan Again”

IYO SKY chats about her return to in-ring action in Japan.

Headlining Dream Star Fighting Marigold’s Grand Destiny show was a singles match between Mayu Iwatani and WWE’s IYO SKY.

It was SKY emerging victorious from the 20-plus-minute bout. After the match, SKY was interviewed by HypeTalkTV and asked what could be next for her in terms of competing in Japan. Here was her response:

“For now, nothing has been decided after Marigold, but Mayu said she wants to wrestle me again, and there are others in Japan who’ve said the same, that they’d like to face me too. So if the timing works out, I’m sure I will be back wrestling in Japan again.”

In 2024, SKY competed at Marigold’s Summer Destiny event and defeated Utami Hayashishita.
