IYO SKY will defend her WWE Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair on the October 20 episode of WWE SmackDown.
The match was made official by new WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis on the October 13 episode of WWE SmackDown. Aldis believed that Flair would have won the triple threat match at WWE Fastlane if the referee had not been dealing with Bayley and thus granted her a one-on-one contest against SKY.
Plus, Santos Escobar will take on Montez Ford in singles competition. The match was set up after Lashley greeted Carlito backstage on the October 13 episode of WWE SmackDown. Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) then jumped Carlito, who is aligned with Escobar in the LWO.
