Jackie Redmond Says Her One Regret From Working Saturday Night’s Main Event Was Not Getting A Photo With John Cena

Jackie Redmond shares her one regret from working the event where John Cena retired from pro wrestling.

On December 13th, WWE held their latest edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, where John Cena would compete in his pro wrestling match. Jackie would serve as an interviewer on the night, but does have one regret from it.

While speaking to the RAW Recap in a new interview, Jackie Redmond was asked about working WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

“For me, the big thing was there’s very few moments in your life, not even just in your career, where you’re in the moment and you go, ‘my gosh, let me take a photograph with my mind and remember where I’m at,’ what it looks like, what it feels like. You think consciously to actually take in your surroundings, the sights, the smells, the sounds, all of it, because you know how special it is that you get to be there, and that was one of those moments for me. Like I’ve only been working with WWE for a handful of years. So to be a part of something that massive and that important and that meaningful, not just to the fans, but to the wrestling business, I was just trying to soak it all in so that I could remember it. Because I think a lot of times when you go to a big concert or you’re part of a big moment, like you kind of black some of it out because you’re so excited and you have all these feelings and like everything’s happening so fast. So for me, I just really tried to kind of take it in. I do have one regret though. I saw John Cena backstage like five times and I never asked him for a photo. I just didn’t feel right about it. I never did it, and now I’m like, you know what? You should have just- stop being a scaredy cat and ask the man for a photo. He would have taken it because I’ve seen about a thousand of them since Saturday.”
