Jacob Fatu: I’m Tired Of People Recording The Good Deeds They’re Doing. What Do You Want? A Thank You?

Jacob Fatu says he’s tired of people filming their good deeds.

Around last February, there was a clip that went viral on social media where Jacob Fatu was seen loading Lex Luger’s wheelchair into the back of his car.

During a recent interview with SHAK Wrestling, Jacob Fatu was asked about this moment and how he felt seeing Luger walk to the podium on his own during his WWE Hall of Fame induction in 2025.

“It felt good. I didn’t see it live. I did see a clip, but it felt good. It was something about us, man. Listen, whoever’s watching this, or if you do come across it, do the right thing when nobody’s looking. You’re never too cool to help somebody older out. Especially coming from our Samoan culture, our roots and our backgrounds. I hang out with a homeless person before I got to WWE, chilling with them and stuff. You ain’t never too good to say hi to nobody, you know what I mean? Especially if they’re doing bad. But I was very happy, though, to see him. What’s not on the video is he actually gave me an autograph. I actually asked him for an autograph after it, so shout out to Lex. You might not even know me. It’s all good. All Gucci and Gabbana.”

Later, Fatu said that he was tired of seeing people do good deeds for the camera and asked them to do it because it’s the right thing.

“Like, do the right thing. I’m tired of people recording, showing things, the good deeds they’re doing. What you want? A thank you? Huh? Try doing it with the cameras off.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Jacob Fatu said that his injuries probably cost him big opportunities in WWE. Fans can read more about it here.
