Jacob Fatu To Face Solo Sikoa For WWE US Title In A Cage Match At WWE SummerSlam
Jacob Fatu will challenge Solo Sikoa for the WWE United States Championship in a cage match at WWE SummerSlam.
The bout was made official on the July 18th episode of WWE SmackDown. On SmackDown, Solo and MFT (JC Mateo, Tonga Loa, & Talla Tonga) were involved in a car accident. Police were involved and Fatu was taken for questioning. It was later revealed that Solo paid off the cops to question Fatu, who was innocent.
Fatu and Jimmy Uso would take out Mateo and Loa, battering them with steel chairs before Adam Pearce confirmed the cage match. Solo was then arrested.
Solo won the WWE US Title from Fatu at WWE Night of Champions thanks to JC Mateo, a returning Tonga Loa, and a debuting Talla Tonga (Hikuleo).
