Jacy Jayne vs. Kendal Grey For NXT Women’s Championship Set For NXT New Year’s Evil

The first title match is locked in for New Year’s Evil.

There was a five-way tie in the women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT’s Deadline Premium Live Event. In the final seconds, EVOLVE Women’s Champion Kendal Grey hit Lola Vice with her finisher to put herself atop the scoreboard and win the match.

With Grey’s victory, she earned herself a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship at the New Year’s Evil special on January 6th, 2026.

It is now official that Grey will challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship to start the new year. New Year’s Evil will air on The CW.
