Jade Cargill Hoping For Rhea Ripley Rematch After WrestleMania 42 Loss
Jade Cargill is hoping for a rematch against Rhea Ripley.
At WrestleMania 42, Jade Cargill walked in as the WWE Women’s Champion. She defended her title against Rhea Ripley, but couldn’t retain it.
Speaking on the Battleground Podcast recently, Cargill was asked if she’s going to get a rematch against Ripley in the future. Cargill said she is hoping for the same, but also noted that many wrestlers before haven’t gotten a rematch after losing their title.
“I will hope so. I mean a lot of people don’t get rematches these days. When I defeated Tiffany [Stratton] I didn’t get my rematch. So, I mean, I don’t know. It’s up to them I guess.”
Cargill’s reign ended after 169 days and featured just one title defense before her WrestleMania match this year.
