Jade Cargill Thought She Was Going To Face Charlotte Flair One-On-One At WWE SummerSlam

Jade Cargill speaks on her plans for WWE SummerSlam.
Plans changed for WWE SummerSlam when reigning WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley suffered an injury, and an Interim Championship was created.
Now, five women, including Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair, will battle it out in a ladder match to crown an interim champion.
“I thought I was going into it with a one-on-one with Charlotte, she’s been costing me some big time matches, I’m not happy about that. Right now, some changes have been made, and I’m very happy about that. I took out Rhea Ripley, you’re welcome. I have a clear path to taking back a title that I never truly lost,” Cargill said on Busted Open Radio at Fanatics Fest.
In June, WrestleVotes on Fightful Select reported that Cargill vs. Charlotte was internally pitched for SummerSlam.
Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton are the other two competitors set for the ladder match. The final spot will go to the winner of Giulia vs. Lash Legend.
