Jaida Parker Discusses ‘Suspension’ From WWE NXT, Talks Feud With Blake Monroe

Parker opted not to address the injury.

As the 2/17 installment of NXT on The CW was ongoing, NXT Interim General Manager Robert Stone announced that Jaida Parker is out of action with a neck injury. He added that she is also suspended from the brand because she attacked a referee during her brawl with Blake Monroe on 2/10.

Parker guest appeared on Busted Open the day after the news of her injury and suspension was announced on television. She was asked about that, but did not address the injury. She only spoke about the storyline suspension.

“It wasn’t the easiest thing to hear from him, especially being suspended,” Parker said about Robert Stone replacing her in the number one contender’s tournament for a WWE Women’s Speed Title shot.“But he said, ‘Actions have consequences’ but if he realized, that was just a reaction to an action that was caused by Blake Monroe. But, we’re playing chess, not checkers. So, I just gotta get better. That’s all.”

Speaking about Monroe, Parker was asked if she feels Monroe has been ‘handed’ opportunities in NXT. Here’s how she responded:

“I wouldn’t say ‘handed’ because I feel as though everybody here earns what they are given, to be honest with you. There’s no disrespect anywhere. Blake (Monroe) does put in the work. I do see that and I see how she is in the ring but at the same time, you gotta get tested to see what you’re about and yeah, she’s been tested here but she hasn’t been tested by Jaida Parker at the end of the day.”

During the match between Monroe and Parker on 2/10, Monroe gave Parker a suplex, and Parker landed on her head.
