An update on Jake Atlas.
Atlas wrestled Adam Cole as part of the AEW Rampage tapings following AEW Dynamite on Wednesday. During the bout, Atlas was favoring his knee and having trouble putting weight on it. According to those in attendance, Atlas could not take the Panama Sunrise and instead Cole put him in a kneebar to score the submission victory.
Atlas received medical attention following the bout and was helped to the back by AEW officials.
According to PWInsider, Atlas "blew out his knee" but the severity of the injury has not been confirmed.
Atlas competed on Monday's episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, defeating Serpentico, and was officially announced as signing with the company on Tuesday.
