Jake Doyle Underwent Successful Surgery
An update on Jake Doyle.
Fightful Select reports, “Jake Doyle (Something) had successful surgery this week to repair his injury.”
Full details are available for subscribers.
Doyle was injured during the January 28th episode of AEW Dynamite as he teamed with Mark Davis to challenge FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) for the AEW Tag Team Titles.
Doyle took a DDT on the apron, and could be heard saying that he tore his bicep. He did not participate in the rest of the match, and they seemed to go quickly to the finish, which involved Jon Moxley interfering and FTR winning.
We wish him the best as he recovers.
