Jake Hager Disputes Caim From Jon Jones That Two Are Facing At Fury Grappling Event

Jake Hager is set to face-off with Jon Jones.

On November 20, Jones announced on Twitter that he will be competing in a grappling bout against the AEW star on December 9 at a Fury Grappling event in New Jersey.

Replying to a fan who corrected Jones after he referred to Hager as a WWE Superstar, the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion admits that he just found out today and still doesn't know too much about Hager.

Jones last competed in an MMA contest at UFC 247 on February 8, 2020, where he retained the Light Heavyweight Title against Dominick Reyes. He would relinquish the belt later in the year after a conflict with UFC President Dana White over his pay and his desire to move up to the heavyweight division.

Hager took to social media to dispute Jones' claim that the two have a grappling match set.

Hager's last fight came at Bellator 250 on October 29, 2020, where he defeated Brandon Calton.
