Since being released from WWE in November of 2017 James Ellsworth has made a splash on the independent wrestling scene competing in various promotions and even created a World Inter-Gender Championship that both men and women can challenge for. Last night Ellsworth kept the ball rolling in his post-sports-entertainment run as he debuted for IMPACT Wrestling at their 'One Night Only' event entitled 'Cali Combat'.
IMPACT presented a joint show with 'Big Time Wrestling' which is a promotion based in California and in Ellsworth's debut match with the company he squared off against 'Kal Jack' and delivered a "No Chin Music" after connecting a low-blow to Jack to secure his first victory in IMPACT.
Following the bout Ellsworth gave himself a pat on the back for his victory but then added that is it time for him to make more of an "IMPACT".
