New NWA World Tag Team Champions were crowned at NWA Hard Times as Eli Drake & James Storm walked away with the gold.
Storm & Drake won the titles in a triple threat tag team bout that also featured defending champions The Rock N Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) and The Wildcards (Thomas Latimer & Royce Isaacs). The ending came when Drake hit the Gravy Train on Morton for the pinfall.
This marks the first NWA Tag Team Title reign for Storm & Drake.
After the bout, Storm & Drake cut a promo where they suggested tag team names. Names mentioned were Beer Muscles and Bottom's Up. They ended the promo by saying it doesn't matter what you call them, as long as you call them champions.
