James Storm comments on WWE working with TNA Wrestling.
When James Storm first began in TNA Wrestling in 2002, he could have never imagined that ten years later he would become a TNA Wrestling World Champion. Even the version of Storm that was TNA World Champion could never have foreseen that a little over a decade after that, TNA would enter a working agreement with WWE, and the TNA Wrestling World Champion would not only appear in the WWE Royal Rumble but also wrestle Randy Orton at WrestleMania.
During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet for Insight, Storm was asked about Joe Hendry's WWE exploits while holding the TNA Wrestling World Championship. Storm said he was so happy for TNA when he saw Joe enter the Royal Rumble and compete at WrestleMania that he almost shed a tear.
"I actually almost shed a tear. Because I was happy for Joe, but I was really happy for TNA. People can say whatever they want to say about Oh, this was not a good look. No, it was a good look. It's the biggest show of the year, and they have another company's belt in shot."
Storm recently shared his reasons for never officially joining WWE. Find out more here.
