James Storm Says If He Came To WWE, He Would Not Want To Immediately Be Paired With Bobby Roode

Would you like to see Beer Money reunite in WWE?

Former 7-time TNA World Tag Team Champion James Storm is gearing up for his singles match tonight against Grado at 'Insane Championship Wrestling's' 'Fear & Loathing XI' show in Glasgow which will be refereed by Storm's former boss and colleague, WWE Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarrett.

Six-Man Tag, Mixed Tag, X-Division Title Bout, More Announced For TNA Under Siege

Over the years Storm has done a number of interviews in-which he was asked about his brief run in NXT and if he'd ever consider going back to WWE. Storm was asking something similar during an interview with Mirror Sports' Ryan Gallacher. The possibility of James Storm coming to the sports-entertainment company was brought up and Storm was also asked about reforming 'Beer Money' with former WWE United States Champion Bobby Roode. Storm added that if he were to come to WWE, he does not want to immediately be paired with Booby Roode and would like to establish himself as a singles competitor first.

"I don't know if it would ever happen as far as us being called Beer Money. If Vince wanted us to be called Beer Money and wanted us to rejoin, that would be no problem. But if I was to go there on my own, I think I would at first establish my own name." He said. "Establish myself as a player. I don't want to be there and be thrown straight into a tag team. I'd rather just start out, even in NXT and build my name up inside that WWE bubble, and then maybe later down the road, me and Bobby could become Beer Money."

Bobby Roode is already paired with Chad Gable. The two recently had a shot at the RAW Tag Team Championships and to read about how they fared in that match, click here.
