Janai Kai emerges as the "Phantom Challenger" and wins MLW gold at MLW Slaughterhouse.
Janai Kai was revealed as Salina De La Renta's Phantom Challenger against Delmi Exo for the MLW World Women's Featherweight Championship. While the champion fought her heart out, in the end, Kai was able to make her submit and capture the championship adding more gold to Promociones Dorado.
Kai was not supposed to be Exo's original challenger but B3CCA was pulled from the match because her record label "demanded" that she finish her next album.
