Javier Bernal has been released by WWE.
WWE has released Javier Bernal. The former WWE NXT Superstar shared the news on his social media and is the latest name to be released as part of wider cuts on Friday, May 2, 2025.
Bernal, who will be a free agent in 30 days following his release, competed in 105 matches during his tenure with WWE. He got his start on the now-defunct WWE 205 Live brand. His two final televised matches took place on WWE EVOLVE, both were losses to Oro Mensah and Riley Osborne, two names that are also no longer with the company following May 2.
Bernal broke his foot while working for WWE in June 2024 and returned in January 2025. Now, he's ready for his future.
Big Body may be gone, but the Big Body Believers live forever. Javi isn’t going anywhere. Free Agent in 30 days, and you can book me at [email protected]. Stay tuned for more, and be your fucking self! ---- pic.twitter.com/JdCe7yF8Il
