Jay Lethal In First Time Match Up At War Of The Worlds

Jay Lethal and Chuck Taylor finally meet in Ring of Honor. 

Both Jay Lethal and Chuck Taylor have been wrestling in the independent wrestling circuit since the early 2000s. They now meet for the first time in Ring of Honor where Lethal has been predominately featured for most of his career. The last time the two wrestlers met in a singles match was at IWA: Mid-South in 2006.

Ring of Honor advertised this match on Twitter as a "first time match."

Earlier this year, Taylor and Lethal both wrestled in a six-man tag team match during Honor Rising in Tokyo, Japan. While Lethal has been with Ring of Honor for the majority of his career, Taylor has only been wrestling there since 2017. 

The War of the Worlds tour will take place May 9th to May 13th and three of the stops will be broadcasted on Honor Club stream. The Chicago stop where Lethal and Taylor face-off will be on television.
