Jay White is back in Japan.

NJPW Wrestling Dontaku closed with Kazuchika Okada successfully defending his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Tetsuya Naito.

Okada did his show closing promo, but before he could celebrate in the ring, Jay White's music hit, marking his first appearance for NJPW in Japan since Wrestling Dontaku 2021 last year.

White confronted Okada, leading to Gedo jumping Okada from behind. White led a Bullet Club beatdown of Okada with the returning Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson), new member Juice Robinson, and new champions Chase Owens, Bad Luck Fale, and Taiji Ishimori getting in on the attack.

The show closed with Anderson singing "happy birthday" to Bullet Club as the group formed at NJPW Wrestling Dontaku 2013.

White has been active in the United States over the past year, wrestling for NJPW STRONG, IMPACT Wrestling, AEW, and various independent promotions.
