White made a surprise appearance at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 as part of Hiroshi Tanahashi’s retirement ceremony.
On the April 5, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jay White confirmed that he was sidelined with a hand injury. White was scheduled to compete in the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s tournament.
In August, Tony Khan said that White was going to be out “for a long time.”
