Jazzy Gabert was about to sign with WWE, but medical testing revealed problems that prevented them from signing her.
She talked to Edge and Christian on their podcast about the Mae You Classic. She did reveal that WWE were prepared to sign her, and went through medical testing that all prospects go through before being signed. Her medicals hit a snag when it was revealed that she had three herniated discs in her neck. When the doctor gave these results to the WWE medical staff, her prospects at being signed came to an end.
“Of course they sent the results to the WWE doctor and then the WWE doctor contacted me and they said to me, ‘We’re really sorry Jazz, but we cannot give you our clearance and you are disqualified. And you cannot work for WWE'” she said.
She did not make it far within the Mae Young Classic, losing to Abbey Laith in the first round. However, she got over with the crowd due to her look and size, and seemed like a prospect WWE may have been interested in.
Gabert, who does experience numbness in her arms and shoulders, intends on going through with the surgery to fix the problem.
