Je'Von Evans just wants to be the first Je'Von Evans.

Since making his debut for WWE's developmental brand NXT in April of 2024, Je'Von Evans has had fans take to him, with his wave of momentum leading to multiple chances at the NXT Championship. Evans would come up short so far, but continues to have the fans in his corner.

While speaking to WrestleZone during WrestleMania weekend, Je'Von was asked what he wants fans to know about him, with Evans remarking that he would like fans to not compare him to other black wrestlers, as he wants to be the first Je'Von Evans.

"I try to stand out from everybody. You know what I mean? I don't want to be compared to anybody. I don't want to be compared to Kofi or any other black wrestler. I just want to be the first Je'Von Evans. You feel me? I'm going to keep on proving to y'all why I should be the first Je'Von Evans."
