Jeff Cobb Debuts At WWE Backlash, Helps Jacob Fatu Retain WWE United States Championship

Jeff Cobb has made his WWE debut and is aligned with Solo Sikoa. While he helped Jacob Fatu retain the WWE United States Championship at WWE Backlash, Fatu doesn't seem to be too thrilled with the appearance of the former NJPW star.

Jeff Cobb appeared at the end of the WWE United States Championship Fatal 4-Way at WWE Backlash 2025. With Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest distracted with settling their own score and Priest sending McIntyre crashing through a table out in the audience, LA Knight thought he had victory in hand with control over Jacob Fatu.

However, Solo Sikoa would appear to save Fatu from imminent danger, and when Knight figured he would be getting his hands on Solo, Jeff Cobb blindsided him from the crowd. He then slammed him up against the ring post and sent him into the squared circle so Fatu could score the victory with a Moonsault.

Despite retaining his title, Jacob Fatu did not appear happy with Jeff Cobb's appearance and stormed away from Cobb and Solo Sikoa as they tried to celebrate with him.

Fightful Select had previously reported that Fatu was on his way to WWE. The former IWGP World Tag Team Champion recently finished his duties with NJPW ahead of his WWE debut.
