Jeff Hardy: Anytime People Invite Me To The Cookout, I’m Stoked

Jeff Hardy is always happy to be invited to the cookout.

Jeff Hardy is one of the most beloved professional wrestlers of all time, revered by multiple generations of wrestling fans, regardless of their race or gender. Recently, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy were interviewed by FOX 9 in the Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota areas.

When it was mentioned that black wrestling fans who grew up loving Hardy still love him today, the former WWE Champion noted that he has always enjoyed elements of Black culture, such as hip-hop. He also said that anytime he’s invited to the cookout, he’s excited about it. He even commented that he was honored to be the only white man invited to WaleMania.

“When I first started writing rap songs, this was back in 1992ish or something, like when Vanilla Ice was really big, I started writing rap songs. One of my lyrics was, ‘I’m white as snow, but black in the soul.’ I was honored to be the only white man at WaleMania. Anytime people invite me to the cookout, I’m just stoked.”

Jeff Teague recently commented that both Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio are somewhat of an urban legend. Read these comments here.
