Jeff Hardy is a mark for his favorite musicians.
Along with his professional wrestling, Jeff Hardy is a passionate artist and musician. His band, PreoxWhy?Gen even provided the song “Obsolete” which became the theme song for Matt and Jeff Hardy in TNA during the Broken era.
Also during that era, the brothers worked with Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins. Jeff Hardy, on the latest AEW Unrestricted, says he was a huge mark for Billy Corgan when they first met. Jeff even admitted that some of that extends to AEW’s Butcher, Andy Williams, who was a member of the band Every Time I Die.
"When I met Billy Corgan, man, I was such a mark. He was in our backyard during the 'DELETE or Decay.' I have my symbol in the ground with a shovel and set on fire that came up and then we pulled it up to get the good drone shot. After that, I remember being like, 'FUCK YEAH! Billy Corgan was in my backyard! Smashing Pumpkins,' I was such a mark. With butcher in AEW, I'm such a mark for Every Time I Die and I was binging their videos one day and Matt told me they broke up and I'm like, how do I approach him about that stuff? ‘Hey, do you have any of your old stuff laying around?’"
