Jeff Hardy Returns On 4/12 AEW Dynamite

Hardy wiped out The Firm with a chair and then hit a swanton bomb on Moriarty.

The save was set up after Page demanded answers from Matt as to what was in the contract he signed when he agreed to face HOOK. Matt said that the contract stated he and Private Party (Kassidy & Marq Quen) would no longer be under control of The Firm if HOOK won.

Moriarty & Bill attacked Kassidy & Matt. HOOK made the inital save before he was ganged up on, leading to Jeff's return.

On February 23, Jeff Hardy's court case in relation to his June 2022 was officially closed. Hardy was arrested on June 13, 2022 in Volusia County, Florida and charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license and violating restrictions placed on a driver's license. He was subsequently suspended by AEW until he finished substance abuse treatment. The Hardy Boys were scheduled to challenge for the AEW Tag Team Championships on the June 15 episode of AEW Dynamite.

In February 2023, Hardy's case relating to his DUI was closed. Jeff was credited for serving 38 days in jail. It was listed that he is on probation for 24 months and fined $4,000 with court costs listed as $586. His driver's license was listed as being suspended for 10 years.

Matt said that Jeff stayed in Florida for rehab for 90 days and then did outpatient rehab. Matt noted that Jeff did roughly 170 days of treatment.

Jeff recently underwent eye surgery. He has not wrestled since AEW Double or Nothing 2022.
