Jeff Hardy's Court Date For DWI Pushed Back Once Again To September

There's been another delay for Jeff Hardy's upcoming court date for his DWI arrest last year.

According to PWInsider, Hardy is now set to appear in Moore County Court in North Carolina regarding his October 2019 arrest for Driving While Impaired has been pushed back to September 28. The previous date for Hardy's court date was July 16, however, the court date, as well as all current court cases, has been pushed back due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Previously, Hardy was supposed to be in court on May 11.

Hardy missed nearly a year of in-ring action after suffering a leg injury in April 2019. Jeff and his brother Matt were forced to relinquish the SmackDown Tag Team Titles due to Jeff's injury. Hardy's rough 2019 didn't end there as he was arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for public intoxication in July and then arrested and charged with driving while impaired in Moore County, North Carolina in October.

Jeff returned to competition on the March 13 episode of WWE SmackDown, but did not compete at WrestleMania 36. Hardy competed in the Intercontinental Championship tournament months ago and is now in a feud with Sheamus with Hardy's past battles with addiction and substance abuse being openly brought up on television. Hardy recently challenged Sheamus to a bar fight at an unspecified date.
