Jeff Hardy Sent Home From The Road After WWE Live Event

Former WWE World Champion sent home from the road.

Jeff Hardy was absent from a live event in Corpus Christi, Texas tonight and Fightful can confirm PWInsider's report that the former WWE World Champion was sent home from the road. Jeff Hardy competed in an Edinburgh, Texas show with Xavier Woods and Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns and The Usos and reportedly grew sluggish as the match went on.

Jeff Hardy would eventually make the hot tag to Drew McIntyre and disappear from ringside, being followed by security. Tonight, in Corpus Christi, Jeff Hardy was replaced in the match by Rey Mysterio.

Jeff last competed on television on November 26. He was in both the Battle Royal to determine a new Number One Contender for the WWE Universal Championship as well as a tag team match alongside Drew McIntyre against Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss.
