SmackDown will open with Shinsuke Nakamura and Jeff Hardy renewing their rivalry in a one-on-one bout.
General Manager Paige honored Hardy's request to render Nakamura "obsolete" by making the bout official for Tuesday.
Nakamura captured the United States Title from Hardy at Extreme Rules, hitting a low-blow prior to the bout and then a kinshasa once the bell rang. The two engaged in a rematch at SummerSlam, with Nakamura once again coming out on top.
Hardy is looking for a measure of revenge and a little momentum heading into Hell in a Cell. This Sunday, Hardy will make his first trip inside Hell in a Cell when he takes on Randy Orton.
Already announced for SmackDown on Tuesday is Maryse vs. Brie Bella and R-Truth vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas.
Fightful will provide live coverage of SmackDown on Tuesday and Hell in a Cell on Sunday.
