As of publish time, Jarrett hasn’t wrestled for the promotion since January 2025, when he was defeated by Claudio Castagnoli in a singles contest. He has continued to appear for AEW in an analyst role while also occasionally wrestling on the indie scene.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani for a new interview, Jeff Jarrett was asked about his in-ring absence.
“Well, I do Zero Hour. I’m very comfortable. I’m not in the creative department, I’m not in talent relations, I’m a talent. When I’m called to do Zero Hour and be an analyst, I do it. When I’m called to wrestle, I’ll be a wrestler.”
