Jeff Jarrett: I've Had A Favorite AEW Match, But There's More To Come. I Have Bucket List Matches I'm Eyeing

Jeff Jarrett says his favorite AEW match is yet to come.

Jeff Jarrett has wrestled for every major wrestling promotion of the last 40 years. He currently plans to finish his career as an in-ring wrestler in AEW, having signed his final contract as a wrestler, which was revealed to be for only one year, in January 2025.

During the latest episode of his My World podcast, "Double J" was asked about his favorite match in AEW. He says he hasn't had his favorite match yet and has a few bucket list opponents he hopes to face. However, he did mention that the match he had in the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Memorial Cup Tournament against Hangman Page is one that will always stay with him.

"I've had a favorite match in AEW, but there's one to come, or maybe a few to come that I'll keep confidential, that I've got on my bucket list or set in my sights. But to date, without question — we've had some fun tags; me and Orange Cassidy had a good single. Me and Dax. There are a few we could go through. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was fun to me in a lot of ways. But if I have to name one, the Owen against Hangman in Chicago. The crowd response and how the organic nature of so many things that went down that night will forever be special in my career, no doubt."

Jeff Jarrett was briefly feuding with Maxwell Jacob Friedman in 2025, but that storyline was iced in favor of a story with Hangman facing MJF. Learn more about that here.
