At TNA Unbreakable in 2005, the company would play host to one of the most legendary matches in it’s history, as Christopher Daniels would defend his TNA X-Division Championship in a triple threat match that would also feature AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, with Styles walking away with the victory and the gold in the show’s main event.
While speaking to The Wrestling Classic in a new interview, Jeff Jarrett spoke about the moments he was most proud of in TNA, pointing to to that triple threat main eventing as one of his favorite choices.
“Oh, there’s so many of them. I mean, I’m proud of the day that I sat in the creative room and said, ‘Joe, AJ, and Chris Daniels are going on last.’ Um, I was, very proud of the empty arena (match). It wasn’t a pay-per-view match, but the empty arena match with Kurt and Sting, the vision that came through on that.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Jarrett spoke about what he would go back in time and tell a younger version of himself in 2002. You can read more about that here.
