Jeff Jarrett To Max Caster: You Have Multiple Receipts Coming

Jeff Jarrett makes it clear that Max Caster crossed a line, and he's going to pay.

On the December 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, Caster and Bowens dropped their new music video, in which Max took several shots at Jarrett and Lethal. In one memorable line, he stated that Jarrett stole Kurt Angle's wife. He also claimed that Jarrett hadn't been relevant since 2004. The Acclaimed will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Jarrett and Lethal on the January 4 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Speaking on the newest episode of his My World podcast, Jarrett was asked about the title match, and Caster's rap became the focus of the conversation. Jarrett made it clear that Caster crossed a line when he messed with his family and his money. He then made it abundantly clear that the claim that he "stole" Kurt Angle's wife was false, as he and Karen were legally separated when Kurt joined TNA.

“I want to be careful with my words here, but diplomatic. But enough is enough. [It was] inappropriate, crossing the line. I’m literally tired of all of it, being the nice guy, just kind of letting things roll off, lot of times taking the high road. But I’ve heard Kevin Nash, I’ve heard Jerry Jarrett, I’ve heard a bunch of old-timers live kind of by the creed, ‘Don’t mess with my family and don’t mess with my family,’ and Max did both. He messed with my family and my money. Conrad, you know probably as well as anybody the real truth, and look, Karen is a personality. But the fact that I’m stealing Kurt Angle’s wife, that is kind of a generation removed, and I want to kind of set the record straight here, and this is completely with all due respect. I’ve kept my mouth shut 10, 12 years for two reasons, Kyra Angle and Kody Angle. They’re old enough now, they know the absolute truth, but me stealing Kurt’s wife is the furthest thing from the truth. The fact of the matter is when we hired Kurt Angle, and I say we, me and Dixie Carter, she’s a part of this story, they were legally separated. They weren’t living under the same roof. Enough is enough," Jarrett said.

Jarrett then brought up Kurt Angle's tweet about the rap and shifted his attention to his fellow WWE Hall of Famer by stating that he doesn't need to use Kurt's name to get heat. Jarrett then went into detail about his truth of the situation regarding Karen and TNA. He claimed that Dixie Carter and Vince Russo essentially tried to make a power play, and it wildly backfired. Jarrett then vowed that Caster has a receipt coming on Wednesday.

"We’re 13 years removed from this, and I’m sure Kurt, I would assume he’s sick and tired of it because he tweeted and tried to get in AEW business, and he tweeted, and that’s why I said I wanted to address this. He tweeted, ‘When you got to use my name to get heat after 12 years. #MoveOn’. Kurt Angle, if you think I need your name to get heat after 12 years, you’re delusional, Kurt, and I am sick and tired of my wife having to go through this pain. I’m literally sick of it. Conrad, you know the names. I’m not gonna say the names. I respect that the past is the past. Look, there’s a lot of disasters [with] marriages, it happens all the time. But for Max Caster to pour gasoline on my wife, I’m done with that. I am so done with that, and I’m not done. Because everyone will say, ‘Well said a minute. Y’all worked a storyline and this and that.’ Yeah, here’s the real situation. Yeah, I got sent home, and the whole world, including Max Caster, thinks, ‘Oh, yeah you got sent home because of that whole disaster with Bubba the Love Sponge or whatever it was.’ No, the fact of the matter is, Dixie Carter, for the third time, pulled a power play. She tried the first one during my wife’s illness. The second one was about 12 months later. The third one was during this, and I gave her the rope to hang me. She went to her father and said, ‘Oh, we can’t have this.’ She didn’t give two shits about Kurt Angle. She wanted the power play. You know what, that’s exactly what happened, and in 24 months, she put the company in a financial death spiral, so her power play got her put essentially out of the business. Vince Russo’s absolutely a part of this. Vince’s whole plan was to go along with it. He knew damn well the Kurt and Karen situation. He knew absolutely all of it. He sat on the side and, just like Kurt was, ‘We’re just gonna let Jeff get sent home.’ Guess what, Jeff’s just trying to put his life back together. No, but let him [get sent] home. Because Russo’s plan was, ‘I’ll get Jeff out, and I can write the show by myself.’ Little did she know, Dixie Carter, and I was at the original lunch, hired Hulk Hogan, so then Vince Russo had to answer to Hulk, then Eric [Bischoff], Russo was a part for that equation. The running joke for six months in 2010 was, well, Russo tried his power play along with Dixie, but look what happened to him now. I’m sick of it, Conrad. I’m absolutely sick of the BS of my wife. I am defending my wife. I’m absolutely sick of all the crap. Max Caster, you crossed a line. Pal, you have no idea the kind of worms you’ve opened. A receipt is coming Wednesday, I assure you that," he said.

The legend then brought up how, during the rap, Caster insulted Jarrett for the Global Force Gold chapter of his career, and the line that Jarrett hasn't been relevant since 2004. "Double J" pointed out that he has been inducted into two Hall of Fames, made plenty of money, and built TNA into a profitable company before the aforementioned power play. He also repeated his line from AEW Rampage, where he said that he has more "shower time" than Caster has ring time.

"You wanna talk about Global Force Gold? You know what in hell you’re talking about. You’re saying I hadn’t been relevant since 2004? Really Max? I guess I’ve been in two Hall of Fames since then. I guess I started a company and got it up where it was making $6, 8, $10 million a year. It was making over $50 million gross, and you’re saying I’m irrelevant? You’re damn right I’m 55. What 55-year-old can get hired? I look better than you today at 55 than you’ll ever look in your life. I damn sure work better, but that ain’t saying much. But you wanna talk about me being relevant? Global Force Gold, hey, I made a lot of screwups, it was a marketing initiative, and I got paid well for a start-up company. Maybe the aesthetics, maybe the presentation sucked, not maybe, they did. But you want to take pot shots? A young punk like you, Max? Are you out of your freaking mind? You think it’s doing the tweets and doing the posts and the raps all that BS. Max, I assure you, pal, you have no idea what you’ve done. None. So now, I’ve cleared up all that, and then you want to talk about stealing money and carny, pal? You’re screwing with a man’s money. I’ve drawn more money than you’ll ever see, pal. I said it on Rampage. I got more shower timer than you got ring time, that’s the truth. A guy who’s got 36 years in the business… I guess my did dad write me as the main event. The hottest international attraction in Mexico for the last 20 years. What did my dad have to do with that? What did Vince Russo have to do with that? Who can start their own company and lead it to profitability until the power play screws him out?" Jarrett said.

He then claimed that Caster and Bowens wouldn't be relevant if not for Billy Gunn before he targeted Max's music career and his athleticism. He noted that Caster's mom "probably banged" an equipment player from the New York Jets, as his athletic ability didn't line up with the notion that his dad was a football player. Jarrett then cited his connections in the Nashville music community and, with them in mind, stated that Caster's music career never happened. He went so far as to claim that he doesn't think Caster writes his own raps.

"Max, let’s get down to you now. Let’s expose you. Let’s talk about the fraud you are. If it wasn’t for Billy Gunn, who’s a few years older than me, you and your little bitch would be irrelevant. Period. Max, there is no way in hell, your mom probably banged the equipment manager from the New York Jets. There ain’t no well in hell that your dad’s an NFL football player. Zero chance. The athletic ability, and you’ve got 50% DNA from a professional athlete, I call BS. Has anyone ever seen Max with his father? No. It’s a myth. It’s a fraud, it’s completely BS. It never happened, just like his music career. I like in Nashville. I’ve got relationships with CAA, UTA, WME, all the agents in town, all the promoters in town, all the genres of music in town. Max, you are a talentless bum. I don’t even believe you write your own raps, I really don’t. You’re a complete fraud," Jarrett said.

Jarrett shifted gears by criticizing Caster's training as a wrestler by noting that he was trained by Brian Myers and Pat Buck, two wrestlers who had never "been anywhere out of jerking the curtain". He acknowledged that they also trained MJF and shared his belief that MJF is succeeding in spite of them. Jarrett then emphasized that Caster has multiple receipts coming on Wednesday.

"As far as your athletic ability, you want to talk about Jay Lethal and taking shots at the most decorated ROH guy? Max, let’s get real about it. Truth be known, you went to wrestling school which is a fraud. Create A Pro, Brian Myers, Pat Buck. Have they ever been anywhere out of jerking the curtain? So if they don’t know how to get themselves in the main event, how in the hell can they teach you? I’m sure you’re saying, ‘Oh, but wait a minute, MJF.’ Yeah, MJF is succeeding in spite of his crappy training. In spite of it. Max, you’re a damn fraud, and you know it. Lot of water under the bridge, lots. But you invoking my wife’s name, she don’t have no paper with AEW. Completely out of line. So I’ll just say this. There’s a lot of moving parts Wednesday night. We all know this is an industry, so who knows what’s gonna happen? But I will say this: Max, you have multiple receipts coming, multiple. You’ll know it. I can assure you that. You’ll know it. You think I’m working? You think this is a podcast? You’ll find out. I assure you that," he said.

Co-host Conrad Thompson explained that he thought Kurt Angle's tweet was a storyline, and Jarrett made it clear that wasn't the case. He went on to repeat that he doesn't need to bring up Angle to stay relevant.

“A story? He works for WWE. It’s not like me and Kurt are worming a storyline. Father of the kids in my house. So on that level… I’ve screwed up in every relationship imaginable. My wife, my kids, my father, my mother. I’ve screwed up, but enough is enough. I mean literally. He wants to say that I need his double-knee-replacement ass to get heat? Are you kidding me, Conrad?’" Jarrett said.

Speaking of Angle's tweet, Jarrett explained that he's not upset with Angle, though he thinks Kurt should have kept his mouth shut. He then wrapped up the bulk of his message by lumping Caster in with Russo and Carter and calling them all evil.

"What has Max got to move on about? The hashtag is ‘MoveOn’. I assure you, I’m not upset at Kurt. He should have kept his mouth shut. But look, Max wants to come out with all this BS, I’m gonna defend my wife. I didn’t steal Kurt Angle’s wife. Conrad, I’ll put a bow in this. Max Caster, a completely different generation. When does the madness and the bullshit and the lies and is taking the high road over and over and over, and Dixie Carter looking like the queen of the ball, and Vince Russo… they’re all evil as shit," he said.

Laslly, Jarrett assured the audience that he and Caster will work together, and he won't "do any BS backstage", like fans have seen with real-life issues in AEW in the past. Instead, he made it clear that he'll handle the matter in the ring.
