On Tuesday, July 7, the seventh season of the show premiered with the first two episodes about Jeff Jarrett’s history with TNA Wrestling. The reception was stellar, with both episodes currently holding a high rating on IMDb.

Ahead of the third and final part of the episode, Jeff Jarett detailed his reaction to AMNY after watching the episodes for the first time

“I was just telling Chris [Jericho] as we were coming down the steps, the authenticity and the drama really hit me. There was footage in there I hadn’t seen in years, including my grandfather. Seeing all of it come together was emotional all over again.”

Continuing on, Jarrett praised the Dark Side Of The Ring team for being great at what they do.

“For years, I glossed over it. During these interviews, they asked follow-up questions that made me articulate things I’d never said out loud before. When I watched it back, it hit me all over again. They know how to tell a story, but they’re also incredibly skilled interviewers. They know how to let people open up.”
