Jeff Jarrett: TNA Went From Profitability To Financial Death Spiral When Hulk Hogan Joined

Hulk Hogan joined TNA in 2009, debuting on the January 4, 2010 episode of TNA iMPACT! Hogan’s arrival signified a new era in the company brought about by Dixie Carter, who continued to assert her authority over Jeff Jarrett.

On television, Hulk Hogan was presented as the savior of the company, downplaying its history and making changes like getting rid of the six-sided ring and moving to Monday nights to go head-to-head with WWE Raw.

On Dark Side of the Ring, Jarrett said about Hogan’s arrival, “From the day Hulk came in, it was less than 12 months that we went from profitability to financial death spiral.”

Hogan left the company in 2013, with Dixie literally begging him to stay.
