Jerry Lawler And Lita Removed From WWE Television

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer and F4Wonline.com is reporting, and WWE has confirmed, that Hall of Famers Lita and Jerry Lawler have both been removed from regular weekly WWE television. Both were pulled from the RAW Pre-show, along with former host Scott Stanford, starting this week. Also the pre-show was reduced from 30 minutes to 10 minutes. The new RAW Pre-show hosts are Charly Caruso and Booker T, and something similar is expected for the SmackDown Pre-shows as well.

Lawler and Lita have both transitioned from full-time deals to WWE Legends contracts and this decision was made recently to remove them from the RAW, SmackDown and pay-per-view panels.

Both are still loosely affiliated with WWE and there remains the possibility that one or both of them may be brought back to TV on the WWE Network for special occasions.

WWE is also experimenting with new pay-per-view pre-show panel guests. Hot 97 DJ and "Cheap Heat" podcast host Peter Rosenberg was a guest on the TLC panel this past Sunday.
