Jerry Lawler Gives Update On Stroke And Resulting Brain Damage

Jerry Lawler was surprised his stroke caused brain damage. 

On his podcast Dinner with the King, Jerry Lawler discussed his recovery from the stroke he had in March only weeks before appearing at WrestleMania 34. Lawler said he went to his doctor recently and discovered his stroke caused brain damage where blood was on his brain.

"I had my first follow up with a neurologist. Dr. Weaver here in Memphis...had to get a cat scan today," said Lawler. "He said 'let me show you your brain and your brain damage.' I said 'what?' and he said 'take a look.'...there was a dark spot on it about the size of a quarter," he added.

Lawler went on to say his doctor told him the placement of his brain damage was a critical reason he was not experiencing any side effects. He also said his doctor won't need to see him anymore regarding the stroke.
