Jerry Lawler Speaks After Suffering Stroke, Says Support He’s Received Means A Lot To Him
Lawler speaks for the first time since the incident.
It was made public by Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler’s daughter that he experienced a medical issue in Florida at one of his homes. Lawler suffered a stroke and was taken to a hospital.
For the first time since the health scare, Lawler spoke about the incident while appearing on FOX 13 Memphis. He said the following:
“I remember lying in the bed in the hospital and when people that I knew, like family members came in, and I didn’t even recognize them. People kept coming out of nowhere to thank me and prayed for me and everything and all of that means a great, great deal to me, and I wanna thank ‘em all for all that.”
The news anchor stated that Lawler has been having trouble with his vision. When he returned home from the hospital, he was not able to recognize his home. This was Lawler’s third stroke.
Lawler suffered a stroke in 2023 and 2018. He had a heart attack live on WWE Monday Night Raw in 2012.
