Jerry Lawler Thinks Hulk Hogan Isn't Racist And Situation Was "Blown Out Of Proportion"

Jerry Lawler says Hulk Hogan is a good guy.

On Sunday, WWE announced Hulk Hogan's "three year suspension" from the WWE Hall of Fame had ended. During those three years, there was minimal mention of Hogan by WWE in any way and now that he's reinstated into the Hall of Fame his future with WWE is unclear.

In an interview on the Roman Show, fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler said he's happy to see Hogan and WWE rekindle their relationship.

"I'm not shocked at all. I was shocked that he wasn't in the WWE Hall of Fame. I think the whole thing was blown out of proportion. I've known Hulk Hogan his entire career and for the claims of him being a racist: there was absolutely not one ounce of truth to that at all," said Lawler. "Hopefully they re-new a working relationship for the Hulk with WWE," he added.

In the rest of the interview, Lawler discussed his time at the Florida Supercon, his love for DC comics, and trying to get Memphis wrestling on the WWE Network.
