Jessica Troy looks back on a match she had with Orange Cassidy in Australia.
At PWA Colosseum in 2019, Orange Cassidy would make his way to Australia and would meet Troy in singles action, with Cassidy scraping together a victory thanks to the help of a roll-up.
While speaking to WrestleZone’s Ella Jay in a new interview, Jessica Troy looked back on her match with Orange Cassidy, remarking that the two ‘meshed well’ together.
“I think we mesh pretty well because I’m relaxed as a human, and right now, I’m pretty relaxed, but in the ring, I would say I’m not super relaxed. That’s probably when I get my energy out, but he’s like the opposite. He’s so relaxed in the ring, so you can see me throughout the match get more and more frustrated about just the lack of wrestling going on. I’m like I don’t know how to do what you’re doing. I don’t know how to do the funny parts. He’s just being funny around me and then I’m doing the wrestling around him. It’s like the best of both worlds.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Troy spoke about potentially wrestling on the upcoming AEW Grand Slam Australia card. You can read more about that here.
