WWE rarely acknowledges its competitors, let alone establishes working relationships with them. Right now, WWE and TNA have a working relationship, with NXT stars making appearances in TNA and TNA stars showing up in NXT.
Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay are presently known as The Iinspiration. They previously wrestled in WWE under the names Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, The IIconics. They are an act that got their global start on WWE NXT television, and this working relationship is a moment of worlds colliding for them.
Speaking on TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring podcast, Jessie McKay, formerly known as Billie Kay, shared her thoughts on the working relationship. She called it good for the industry as a whole.
“I think it’s incredible. I think it’s just so good for the wrestling business in general, because it opens up doors for so many more people. It’s also exciting. It’s exciting watching each show and not knowing if somebody is going to pop over to either show. It’s really exciting. So I’m all for it. I think it’s a great partnership. It’s definitely been awesome to watch.”
